Bones

I've been watching a few episodes of Bones with my Dad recently. One channel will play three or four in a row a few nights a week and I've become quite drawn to them. Of course I ship Bones and Booth like everyone else watching the show, but there is one character that I am particularly intrigued with...

Sweets. The psychologist. Maybe it's 'cause of the field I'm in or his slight nerdiness or his similar in age to me or his high level of intelligence or SOMETHING. But I find his character extremely attractive. 

So naturally I go and look for fanfic. Don't really care what about. Out of 17,000 some-odd fanfics on FF.net, a page and a half feature Sweets (most of which featuring him with a character I didn't consider shipping him with and--no.). I then go to LiveJournal. Yeah, got like two tags for his character.

Wth. I just wana read some PWP with him talking all science-y. Is that too much to ask?

Oh, God. I used to be OBSESSED with that show. And when I say obsessed, I mean I could quote virtually every line. I shipped Bones/Booth so freaking hard (surprisingly, I only wrote one fic,, though--read a ton more). Needless to say, after a while I got super tired of Bones' character and once my infatuation with Bones/Bootb faded I had to stop watching. However, I have tentatively been watching Season 7 and I'm not disappointed so far. How long have you been watching?

I also loved John Francis Daley as Sweets. He was on this show Freaks and Geeks when he was a kid--so adorable.

Hope that somewhat satisfies you. You're right, though--since the number of Bones fics is so large, there are still a lot of well-written ones but they're really hard to find among all the many multitudes of crappy ones. Good luck!

HA! Glad there's other Bones fans out there. I've only seen a handful of episodes (I'm talking maybe less than 20 from various seasons) so I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan. But I'll be checking out that Sweets fanfic once I'm done. :D He just seems like my type of guy... Nerdy, my age, smart, concentration in psychology... <3
