 Stealing the idea from ladymercury_10 , I'm going to present to you the songs I love that were introduced to me this year. I'll try and go in rough chronological order, but bare with me; it's been a long year. That last one I listened to for the first time when their album It's Blitz! came out last year. I didn't really give it much attention until this year so I added it at the end. :)
From what I understand, Pumpkin Soup had been a hit a while back, maybe even last year...? But it was a Doctor Who confidential that turned me onto the song. Now I love it. <3 <3

Thanks for giving me a great year, fandom. I've been watching more of S4 but I haven't been able to keep up with the episode re-caps... Damn, I should have done a recap for the Christmas special... ah, well. Here's to 2011, a brilliant year that not only contains me turning a quarter of a century old, I will also be graduating with my Master's degree! The scariest part is that I have absolutely no idea what I'll be doing this time next year. Isn't it exciting? :D
