It was so, so sad! I thought it was going to be sort of lame--just sort of a catch-up monologue via Amy's answerphone message--but then he was right there, listening, the whole time. And then it was a really good catch-up monologue, too.
THIS THIS THIS I should have seen it coming, the Doctor being there but I totally didn't and my heart simultaneously dropped to the pit of my stomach and was stuck in my throat and I didn't know what to do with myself. So I watched it again. And again with headphones.
