tasty_kate I really ought to be in bed. And I really ought to get a Four icon. Instead, I'll recap for you The City of Death.
Within the first few minutes, I wrote down "Already: LOVE ROMANA. LOVE HER HAT. LOVE HER OUTFIT. LOVE HER SNAZZINESS. OMGOMGOMG" If I had long blond hair, I'd cosplay Romana until kingdom come. Also, slightly related, I may ship Four/Romana, what with the two of them holding hands when crossing streets and the like... THAT'S OKAY, RIGHT? RIGHT?!?!
Can anyone tell me what the scientist’s accent supposed to be?? Polish? Russian? Spaniard? ...though I don't know any Spaniards with the the last name ending in "-sky"
A CRACK IN TIME??? SHAPED SUSPICIOUSLY LIKE MOFFAT’S CRACK??
I wonder why Four and Romana didn’t pick up on the jump in time during the first jump? Like Eleven did in The Lodger… And the the Doctor comments, "Never mind the time slip. We’re on holiday!" Hm, much different attitude from what I'm used to. I'm reminded of "Oooh, what's that big mining thing? I love a big mining thing. Rio doesn't have a big mining thing..."
Wow, Tom Baker is so tall! And then he stumbles all over himself as he faints in the Louvre.

Doctor: Weeell… it depends on what you want to do with it--

Dctor: I say, what a wonderful butler! He’s so violent.
HAHA Crawling around on his knees, COMPLETELY taking charge of the situation… I love it.
"Hello there!" YES!!! LOVE THE WIGGLY FINGERS!
Does he have a SONIC SCREWDRIVER?!?!?! *squeeee!!!*
Doctor: If you do that one more time, Dougan, I’ll take very, very severe measures!
Dougan: Yeah, like what?
Doctor: [straightens back]I’m going to ask you not to.
I laughed out loud. Like seriously? Laughed out loud.
Doctor: Oh hey, K-9, are you alright?
: ( I wanted to see the inside of the TARDIS! And K-9!!
N’aww, he does bird calls.
WHAAAAAA??? THE ALIEN-MAN IS ALSO A TIME TRAVELER???
Or… not a time traveler. Displaced through-out time. Whatever. Keep up, Kate.
HAHAHA Doctor took a Polaroid picture of the soldier! ...and then knocked him out or something? Also a bit of a change we see later...
I love the scientist’s dying pose. C'mon, vogue!
My note right before the temporary Team!TARDIS hop inside: HOLY FUCKING JESUS CHRIST IT’S JOHN FUCKING CLEESE!!!!!!!!
And ending on a Darwinian note: I love the birth of all vegetation and life being explained by radiation and an alien space ship exploding.

Date: 2011-03-24 09:21 am (UTC)It's indeed a Romana, from the unaired ep Shada. (I call them episodes most of the time, idk.) I think Shada was supposed to be in the same season as CoD. But there was a strike and it wasn't aired. (But you can still see/listen to it, either with Four or Eight.)
