Partners in Crime

 I'd like to start this entry off on a personal note before recapping. Tomorrow, my main squeeze, man piece, boyfriend, partner, whatever you want to call him (though I'm a big fan of the first two) comes home from Italy. He has been there since the last week of August and I haven't seen him in two months. I've missed him dreadfully, particularly with such a rough semester this fall. To finally have him back and be my point of focus, the person to keep things in perspective for me... it's going to be fantastic. :) Also, I'm typing this on a brand new spankin' laptop because I have an amazing extended family.

Now! Partners in Crime. :) I found it a bit peculiar that this episode went straight into opening credits instead of the usual teaser they do. But! I was EXTREMELY happy to have Donna back in the picture!! I love this woman. So spunky, so full of life and no-bull-shit attitude. She's great. Plus she's a ginger.

Anyone else think that the Adipose were FUCKING ADORABLE?!?!?! Like, wow. They were super cute.

Donna's granddad seems like a really cool person. I hope we see more of him. :) Heck, he should go traveling with the Doctor! Speaking of which, that was a bit of a depressing scene where the Doctor's analyzing this or that and starts talking out loud, interrupts himself and looks around the TARDIS to find himself alone. :(:( Poor guy...

LOVED THE SILENT CONVERSATION!!! I'm usually not very good with reading mouths but I did alright for the most part! haha I cracked up so much during this that I rewound it and watched it again. haha And of course Donna's got some great lines:

Donna: You even got the same suit! ...don't you ever change?

Doctor: What offer?
Donna: To come with you?
Doctor: "Come with me?"
Donna: Oh, yes, please!
Doctor: Oh... right...

Donna: YOU'RE NOT MATING WITH ME, SUNSHINE!
HAHAHAHAHA I fucking love you.

I hope it's not spoiling anything too much to say THERE WILL BE MORE ACENESS FROM DONNA'S GRANDDAD FOR HE IS BERNARD CRIBBINS. Who I assume is not at all known in the USA, being a proper old-school British actor and comedian, particularly remembered for Right Said Fred. His song about a hole in the ground even got used in the Confidential for The Hungry Earth, because BERNARD CRIBBINS.

YES!!!! I did not know of Bernard Cribbins before but now (though it may be because I'm young and not so much because I'm American...), I'm happy that I do. Thank you for those two videos. They were so utterly British, I loved them to pieces. <3 I look forward to getting more from Granddad.
