Yay!! Finally an episode I like! I like Ten and I really like Martha but I was not digging some of those story lines going on there... But yay! Made up for it! 

Start of the episode and the Doctor is taking her home? ...Damn. I like Martha. But thank frickin' God the Doctor can't resist a line like, "Going to change the course of human history" or something to that sort.

Ewwww, old!Martin Gatiss is a creeper with Tish! Bleeeggghhh

And did I catch Ten knocking the tux? I mean... seriously, man. Have you looked in a mirror wearing that thing? You're fuckin' drop-dead gorgeous. And fiddling with that bow tie... And classic Chucks. Ooh, man. You know the way to my heart... Thankfully he makes up knocking on the tux with the line, "Ooh, look! They got nibbles! I love nibbles!" You're precious, you know that?

Doctor: [referring to Tish's comment] "Science geek", what she mean by that?
Martha: That you're obsessively fanatic about it.
Doctor: Oh! Nice!
hahahaha Of course he'd take it as a compliment. :p

Ooh, another inquisitive mother, I see. And then THIS awkward comment!
Mom: Busy? Doing what?
Doctor: Oh, you know... stuff.
THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU SAY TO MOTHERS ABOUT HOW YOU SPEND TIME WITH THEIR DAUGHTERS, DOCTOR. I'd also like to add that I think this woman is an excellent actress. She stood out to me in the first episode but now even more so. I swear she's channeling some of her own personal experiences or something. hahaha And then she slapped Ten toward the end of the episode. Man, does this make one slap for every season so far, then? All by mothers? HAHAHA You really don't do domestics, do you, Doctor?

Is it just me or is Martha really short? ...Or is Ten just tall? I mean, he's got a head on her. I just noticed it this episode.

YAY! Horrible aliens for the past couple of episodes are made up by this really frickin' awesome warped human-thingy! 

I imagine I'll find out, but (rhetorically) who's that guy giving Mom the warnings about the Doctor? Iiii suspect it's Torchwood. Though I  may be wrong. I hear "UNIT" coming up in this fandom in reference to one thing or another and I don't know what that is yet (don't tell me yet! I like some things to be a surprise) so maybe he's from there...? I suppose there's only one way to find out!

Doctor: [playing the organ] We need to turn this up to eleven.
THIS IS SPINAL TAP REFERENCE FTW!!!!

I almost got super, duper sad at the end when Martha almost didn't come. I was going to be sincerely pissed with the Doctor. hahaha So I'm glad she came. I'm getting from the fandom that not everyone likes Martha...? Or maybe she's just over-shadowed by the other companions...?

Who is Harold Saxon? Or will I find that out later, too?

And on a random note, the woman who plays Tish, Martha's sister, is named Gugu Mbatha-raw. Ain't that one hell of a name?

No, he doesn't... which is why I'm surprised he took on Rory with Amy... though maybe we'll find out for sure why he took Rory (re: finding out his true relationship with Amy).
