Fanvid question

I asked on Tumblr but I'll probably get more responses here... What program should I use/do you use to make fanvideos? There's a couple ideas that refuse to leave me.

You can still download the non-wtf-were-they-thinking one. The one I use is WMM 2.6.

It worked for me for a bit but then Windows 7 updated and it broke :(
