 I should have thought of this fic when doctoreleven was doing their Rec-a-thon but I completely blanked. So now I rec it to you, dear Flist.

I don't think this fic is getting the attention it deserves (I've been the only one reviewing the past few chapters!) so I thought I would spread the love. It's written in first person, Doctor's POV, speaking to Amy and the story telling is spot on. Chapters are on the short side so they're quick reads. Give it a go. You'll be glad you did.

The Distress Signal (PG-13)

 Inspired by "Blinding" by Florence + The Machine. Also got some information from tardis.wikia.com and a quote from jpgr . This one's a bit weird as you're thrown into Amy's dreams. I tried to mimic the sequence of dreams as much as I could remember from my own. Longer than my past few fics (2,700+ words, or eight pages).

Summary: Amy is badly hurt when responding to a distress signal from a planet. She is knocked unconscious and is plagued by dreams, all surrounding her Raggedy Doctor. Takes place between Cold Blood and The Pandorica Opens. Rated for a bit of angsty-ness, but no worries, Kate always ends with fluff.
