Death of the Doctor Part 2
This was a really warm and fuzzy sort of episode. Matt Smith, gosh, you're brilliant. The moment between Jo and the Doctor on that planet where they had a little heart to heart... She really called him out, didn't she? But I loved it how he said he went through all of his companions right before he died last to see what they were up to. It's not a one way street, you know? They leave marks on him, too.
Clever way of taking care of the Amy & Rory situation. I was also happy he mentioned them, lets it all stay cannon and the like. I suppose we won't be picking right off where we left off with everyone in their wedding clothes, then. : D
The blue guy was awesome. "Pizza good" then later on "Smells like roast chicken." hahahah
The air vent scene with the Doctor and Clyde face to face and him asking all of those questions-- precious. And we got to hear that infamous line that has caused such a stir with the number of regenerations. It's hard to say whether he was being serious or not, it was so off-handed.
I'm glad I was able to see this to hold me over until Christmas; those short little clips of interviews haven't been doing much to fill in my Matt Smith void. hahah

I don't even mind the episode being kind of camp and sentimental. That's what I love about Doctor Who anyway--camp, sometimes sweet, scifi. Eleven is just the sort of caring and weird Doctor I always thought Four was. Just, yes!
Oh, and I liked the blue guy too! I love when not all the aliens are evil! :)
