Death of the Doctor Part 1

tasty_kate Lemme do the disclaimer and say that this was the first episode of SJS that I've ever seen. Ever. The US only got the first season some time ago and I suppose it didn't do so well because it hasn't been brought back (on a related note: Torchwood in the States has done much better).
Rani going to her father(?) and hugging him and telling him not to go anywhere- sad. :(
During the remembrance ceremony, I really, really didn't like the idea of the Doctor being in a casket and dead. It was super saddening. I was also struck about the small attendance of people... By the way... where are Amy and Rory in this story line?

Aw, woman bonding.
Aw, Jo Gra--er, Jones (?) is saddened by the lack of Doctorness in her life.
The air vent scene creaped me out.
And finally!! The answer we've all been waiting for!!: The Doctor is still wearing braces! Woohoo!!!
Can't wait for more Matt Smith goodness tomorrow! If anyone runs across an online streaming of it, send it my way! :)
