I went and looked at the promo pics for The Wedding of River Song...breaking down after only a day. I know I'm not spoiled to hell but now I got the theories churning around in my head. SPOILERS AND SPECULATION UNDERNEATH CUT.

Amy and Rory have been traveling with Ganger!Doctor since LKH. This Doctor is the one who goes to his death in TIA. This would not make Older!Canton's statement about him saying that who they were looking was definitely the Doctor false as the Doctor previously explained that once the Gangers went into the TARDIS, they were honest-to-goodness people. Long-hair Doctor is the original Doctor and has been investigating the Silence & etc.

As for how sharing the TARDIS and all other technicalities work out, I'm chalking it up to spacey-wacey.

Hmmmm....this is a very interesting theory! I saw the promo pics a few days ago--I just followed a link, and I didn't know they weren't supposed to be released yet. I can't decide if this story is going to be fantastic or just absolutely bonkers, but I can't wait to see it!

In one of the trailers for the second half of s6, Winston Churchill says that something's gone wrong with time. I think there are two Doctors [original Doctors, no Gangers], like in TBB, jumping around time. This causes paradoxes which means one of them has to die.

A Ganger Doctor would just be too much of a cop-out.

Be nice if ganger Doctor got a happy ending though, like he got to raise River (it's not squick, he's a clone) or he got to patrol the other timeline

AACKK Still squick in my book. Ganger Doctor still is Doctor, with previous kisses and feelings and all. Though I do like the idea of him patrolling the other time line.
