LJ was down when I had the full-frontal of squee due to the trailer. I was still buzzing for a good half hour... maybe an hour after the trailer. But now after my drive to campus and FINALLY getting back on LJ... I'd like to say that I can think my clearly but now my head just feels like mush. SO. MANY. POSSIBILITIES. I can't even begin to speculate. I read one LJer say that it was a particularly good trailer because it hyped you up without revealing much of anything. And the music. THAT CHORAL MUSIC. guh. This was my initial reaction which I was forced to post on Tumblr:

I don't even know which bit I'm most excited about or most anticipating. Gotta say, though, seeing Eleven have something resemblance of a sexuality and kissing River was QUITE exciting, never mind that I ship the two like it's going out of style. I heard rumors about there being multiples of characters which DON'T TELL ME ANY MORE THAN THAT but there's a slightly disappointing possibility that... well... it's not the real River or the real Doctor. BUT DON'T CRUSH MY DREAMS, IMAGINATION.
The Moff *did* say that he wasn't brining back any of RTD's characters, right? So I doubt they would have been able to keep David Tennant or Christopher Eccelson making a guest appearance without letting it leak. SO WHAT'S UP WITH THE TARDIS, GUIZ?
Who the FLIP does Amy shoot? ...Or "what" does Amy shoot? I don't know if it was spectacular editing, but I really REALLY didn't like Eleven all yelling and such. Gosh. The raw emotion in this trailer.

I ship them too hardcore like--it's bordering on unhealthy! Amy/Doctor, Doctor/TARDIS, Amy/Doctor/Rory -- and I've gotta be slowly warmed up to the idea of River/Doctor. Ahahaha.

I've only seen the BBCA trailer on a really shitty video that was someone taping their television. It was pretty bad but I DID see the cupping Amy's face. hhnnnnnngggg!!!
I did OTP with Amy/11 for the longest time and really couldn't see myself beyond anything (aside from Doctor/TARDIS which is basically understood to be everyone's OTP). But then I saw Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead and I began to warm up to Eleven/River. I may have exagerrated that I ship 11/River like it's going out of style (I was still buzzing off that trailer) because Amy/11 is still pretty strong with me, however I'm seeing more and more potential for Eleven/River in cannon. Have you seen that two parter?

Yeah, I've seen that two parter. Which, though, I gotta wonder about the Doctor's screwdriver. Since half of it was bitten off by the shark in the Christmas special -- and then in the trailer, he seemed to still have his green one. Which still makes me think about when he gave his screwdriver to River. Hmmmm.

Oh, I'm still flailing. That trailer had enough flail material to last me quite a while. hahah
I WAS SAYING THE SAME THING. Though who's to say that the green light we saw coming from the Doctor *was* the sonic screw driver. He wibble wobbled so quickly it was hard to get a good look of what was in his hand. It almost looked like he was moving beyond his own control. My theory is that the Doctor's screw driver will be replaced and it will be the one we see the Doctor give River in the near future. Which only means... "The towers sang and you cried."
